0 min - Can Grouse Improve Grumpy Day? Yes!
I finally got a start on cutting a tree that fell at the edge of the acreage a year or two back. It was on a slope into the ditch, not laying flat on the ground, and top and bottom surrounded by a tangle of trunks, branches etc- so hard work, a bit tricky to cut without getting the saw stuck, etc. That's why I left it so long! I was already feeling kind of tired and grumpy- this was Monday, which I like to keep as a lazy day after my crazy weekend work days, but with snow and deep cold coming later in the week, I wanted to get firewood cut. So I slogged it out and got a decent start.
To cheer me up there was some nice afternoon sun through the trees, the always super cute Boreal Chickadees came to visit (okay, they were just looking for bugs to eat nearby) and I got some nice views of the Ruffed Grouse that hang out in that little stand of woods at the edge of the acreage. Maybe Bird Goddess sent those visitors to improve my mood? 😉0 min - 0 min

0 min - Madrigal (Yes)
My adaptation for guitar of Yes' song from the "Tormato" album (1978). Music by Jon Anderson & Rick Wakeman.
Planned just for solo guitar but ended up being a multi-part guitar thing at the second half. Those Howe guitar solos and Wakeman's wizardry on harpsichord didn't really make it feasible for a solo rendering in the end.As usual this video is made just for enjoyment and recreational purposes.0 min - scary music time. // [18+ !kofi]
I mostly make some pretty light-hearted music-- can I make something fitting for a horror game instead?
