      Tür auf für Cosma! ❤

      „Mast“-Henne Cosma ist eine von denen, die nicht zusammen mit anderen Vögeln gefüttert werden können. Wer denkt, es läge an ihren mitbewohnenden, viel größeren Puten, irrt: die laufen nämlich eher Gefahr, von Cosma in den Po gezwickt zu werden, wenn es Essen gibt – und Cosma alles für sich beansprucht. Also isst Cosma einfach im Flur. Ganz entschleunigt.

      Der Futterball, eigentlich ein Katzenmodell, sorgt dafür, dass Cosma ihr Essen nicht „inhaliert“, sondern schön langsam isst. Denn das Problem bei den als „Masttieren“ gezüchteten Hühner ist leider ihre Unersättlichkeit. Cosma wurde gezüchtet, um schnell viel Gewicht zuzulegen und im Alter von vier Wochen „schlachtreif“ zu sein. Jetzt ist sie zweieinhalb Jahre alt, unter anderem wegen der „guten Essensdisziplin“. Für ein "Masthuhn" uralt - aber Cosma sagt: da geht noch was! ❤

      Dass Cosma ihren sicheren Lebensort finden konnten, verdankt sie auch den lieben Menschen, die sie mit einer Patenschaft unterstützen.
