Currently in the preproduction phase for my new album, which means experimenting with new tools and techniques. Here I'm trying out the iPad app Loopy Pro to complement and extend the abilities of the Make Noise Easel. It's only my second session with the app (and hell, I've only had the Easel for a few weeks) so I didn't try to do a "live looping" video. Instead, I spent about thirty minutes coming up with the base loops, then improvised over those loops.

All sounds/loops are from the Strega, 0-Coast, or a combo of the two; all created in this session. Bleass Delay and Hainbach's Wires delay added for space; built in compressor added to prevent clipping.

A short improvised performance on the Make Noise Easel (Strega, 0-Coast and 0-CTRL). Additional effects on 0-Coast provided by Koma Field Kit FX (spring reverb and pt2399 delay).
