FINAL NOTE: I didn't realize the waveform selection menu didn't show up on stream! During the sections I am selecting waves, it looks like I am aimlessly pointing the mouse at random parts of the screen, but in fact I was selecting waveforms from an expansive menu. I'll try to get it fixed for next time, but know that this synth has A LOT of waveforms to choose from (even if you can't see them here!).

I sketched on the paper provided by the box, scanned it, cleaned it up in Ibis Paint and printed it. The Inkjet ink is not getting smudged by the markers which I tested beforehand. Which surprised me to be honest. After that I scanned in the final result and fixed some bleeding in Ibis Paint.
