  • Module by module walkthrough of my modular synth. Panharmonium Morphagene Benjolin Desmodus Versio.

    Reupload for new channel.

Based on Benn Jordan's similar video breakdown of his modular rig.

I'm doing a patch of the week every week in 2023, so here's an intro to my modular setup: a nearly 40 minute breakdown of my entire modular synth, module by module., including the semi modular bits. Based on Benn Jordan's format -- how often I use it, and would I trade it. I tried to talk a bit about what everything does but I'll get much more into it in the individual patches.

  • #TribalStageCollab Tribal Stage: Cephalien (credits in description)

    Civilisation: Warbringer

    Class: Specimens
    Origin: Octopus wrestling, mimic octopus
    Name origin: Cephalopod, alien
Sound: Timpani (it beats something up)
Bio: Over the course of millions of years, the Wrestlapods relised it would be much more effective to work together to take out other species than mindlessly slaughter each other. Overtime, they started to form a tribe and crafted helmets of bubblegna to help them breathe on the surface. Their abilities include shapehifting; removing their limbs to act as weapons; regeneration of said limbs; climbing up walls using suction cups; changing their colour and even skin texture; squeezing into any and all crevices, and squirting ink to blind opponents and retreat. The females are used as scouts to analyse biomes and civilisations they wish to invade, and the males are used as soldiers to invade and wipe the population from the gene pool.
A special thanks to @msmanimations for composing the sound.

  • Autumn 2025 Collected Studies Digital Painting Time Lapse

    Explanations:

    1. September - "Theia"

Inspired by the (current favourite) theory about how the Earth gained its axial tilt and single large satellite - another smaller planet (nicknamed Theia) collided and merged with us very early in the solar system's formation, around 4.5 billion years ago, knocking us over a bit and sending material out that would form our moon.
So I thought I'd paint Theia's final approach. Bye bye, Theia.
(This was actually sparked by a monthly art challenge about changing seasons, and of course, it is our axial tilt that means we have them in the way we do at all.)

    2. October - "Zombie Pumpkin"

Made for a monthly art challenge about all things spooky. My friend provided some great free reference photos of different types of gourd, amongst which was this grey pumpkin, which just entered my mind as The Zombie Pumpkin, and stuck.
You can get her reference pack here, if you like: https://maddybellwoar.gumroad.com/l/pumpkinpack
And check out Maddy's channel too, she's the great artist who runs all these challenges: https://www.youtube.com/@UCe0KT9m7eDEjlbXzfA7J6vA

    3. November - "Snowy Mountains"

For a monthly art challenge about snow and ice, I used my own photo from a trip to the French Alps, many years ago.
