      • experiments with laser etching on glass

A few weeks ago I pulled some "laser etching paper" from the mailbag, and a few people asked to see it in use, so here we are.

It's interesting stuff, and it does what it promises, but as part of my experiments I found another way that is even less expensive.

But if you're interested, here is the product I was testing: https://pileofstuff.ca/r/4rxr6

And here's the video that the manufacturer linked to (and that I referenced): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHcIfzcVLxo

If you're interested in the laser I'm using, it is a Creality Falcon2 Pro: https://pileofstuff.ca/r/oel4z

This isn't the only way to do it.

It's probably not the best way to do it.
But it's how I did it.
