Meet Sharon Hines; CEO, investor, community developer and owner of one of the very few Comedy Clubs owned in the United States by an African American Woman. Born in the innovative city of Dayton, Ohio, raised in the Central German city of Frankfurt, Germany, Sharon spent her childhood, up until the age of 15 years old, learning culture that was much different from that of the United States. Being from a military background she has had the opportunity to see many places, and learn the trades of her personality. Very bright. Full of life, motivation, compassion, love for her community, and pride in giving more than she receives. With 32 years of business as an Entrepreneur, she has successfully paved the way for her business to thrive and become a well known establishment worldwide. Catering to the Fort Cavazos, formerly known as Fort Hood, families, not to mention families of Killeen, Texas and the surrounding areas, Sharon has built many business relationships and extended family members with-in these communities. She holds the chair seats at her local beauty salon “Prestige” salon-Killeen, and also the World-known Twice As Funny Comedy Lounge, a comedy lounge located in Killeen, Tx. Bringing down major acts such as Mike Epps, Cedric The Entertainer, DL Hugley, Kountry Wayne, Lil Duval, Monique, Bruce Bruce, Lavelle Crawford, Nephew Tommy of the Steve Harvey Morning Show, Michael Blackson, Eddie Griffin, Earthquake, Korey Holcomb, Desi Banks, Jess Hilarious, Charleston White, and host of other underground and major comedians/artist to entertain the community. Although she has endured many successes with events, and clients, the most successful moment she is most proud of is signing the mortgage to own her own property, a dream she has had for many years, in the winter of 2022. Over coming obstacles since has been the driving force in everyday life, generating the income to consistently service the community, and keep her business open for business. Growth is the model, and to help is the goal. With so many ideas and creative plans for the future, zoning in on community, what drives it, what helps it, what hurts it, has Sharon at the peak of her Entrepreneurial endeavors.
