We start Women’s Month a month late with some Bad Ass women of the Revolution. I’ve had this recorded, but life was a lot in March so we are going to celebrate women through April. This is part one because Peggy is a fascinating woman so she needs more time to be explored. Birth through Meschianza- the biggest bash Philadelphia has ever seen. Her early life basically reads as a 1980s John Hughes film with the Peggy’s and Becky’s of Philadelphia vying for top spot and the bad boys of the British military rolling into town. I guess George Washington is the mean principal who gives them all detention.
