U.S Navy Lt. j.g. Alixzandra Peña, Floresville native and 2012 Floresville High School alumna, has successfully completed an 18-month Naval Supply Corps school in Newport, R.I. Peña graduated as the top-performing student in all supply disciplines, earning the distinction of honor graduate. During the graduation ceremony, she was presented with an officer’s ceremonial saber by Vice Admiral Dion English. Upon graduation, she was also awarded the Joint Service Achievement Medal from her unit at the Defense Logistics Agency at Ft. Belvoir, Va. Her proud family are her parents, Ronnie and Deborah Peña, and sister, Alyssa, of Floresville.
