Did you know that if you have atrial fibrillation you are 5 times more likely to have a stroke? And that 1 in 5 strokes in the UK are caused by atrial fibrillation? However, if your atrial fibrillation is diagnosed, there is medication that can reduce that risk?
Sounds easy, doesn't it? But what are the symptoms of atrial fibrillation? How would you know you have it? And just how do you take your pulse accurately?

Chronic Kidney Disease, or CKD, is a common condition and can affect anyone. It can get worse over time and eventually it can cause the kidneys to stop working. We discuss the stages of CKD, how we test for it, how we treat it, what you can do to help prevent it or stop it from worsening, and acute kidney injury.

They are available to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Tony discusses the work of SARC, the team, the confidentiality agreement, the ongoing care pathway and some of the services they refer on to, as well as discussing the difficulties that males and marginalised communities face when they become victims of sexual violence and the barriers to disclosure they may face.
