"When you don't get the chance to act human you will act as an animal" Privilege is a word seldom used when describing the day to day actions of Black Men. The word privilege has taken a life of it's own in the black community, a life that we despise in others yet possibly take for granted in our own lives. Today I sit down with @_Takenyah and discuss why Black Men are the weakest link. Before you all get upset with the sentiment, think about the "hood" in general, we as Black Men get away with much more than we even expect our women to try. We discuss systematic breakdown, generational curses and overall personal trauma we instill in our own children. Was your mama wrong in some things she said? Was granny wrong sometimes? We begin to dig at the dirt that covers the emotional space that is the Black Male. So no we aren't weak in.... well you know what listen and formulate your own opinion. I found the conversation enlightening, educational and quite honestly helpful. I hope you all can take away something beautiful from the conversation.
