Have you ever been surprised to discover someone who you thought would have no interest in God, actually was quite interested? 
This happens to me fairly often. I see someone who seems quite happy with the world, or who seems too busy to give thought to spiritual matters. Or maybe someone who seems so caught up in sin that he would be deadened to any interest in God.
But Scripture says God "has set eternity in their heart," which means we shouldn't be surprised by someone who expresses a spiritual interest. In fact, we ought to expect it!
