Gary is a social community activist in Camden, New Jersey, and a co-chair for the state’s Green Party. Thanks to Mark Georgia of Pemberton, NJ (where we both volunteered for Bernie Sanders presidential campaign in 2016), he is also my twin.

It was amazing to witness Gary’s growing anger as he realized the depth to which most Americans have been hoodwinked when it comes to federal economics. At one point his eyes teared up and we needed to take a break.

Gary now believes that the Green Party dismisses modern money without fully understanding it.

This is a great conversation with a lot of sobering emotions, bad words, and laughter.

Pete Gillette is a fellow member of my Aikido dojo. Our dojo is the Aikido Arts Institute (http://aikidoartsinstitute.com/) in Maple Shade, New Jersey. I approached Pete in class a month previous to asked if we could do something completely unrelated to Aikido. I said I’d buy him lunch if he’d consider listening to an economics lesson that I'd been practicing. He said yes. When we first arrived at the diner, he admitted that he expected me to market some Ponzi scheme kind of business proposition. He was pleasantly surprised when that was not the case.

Pete calls himself a Democrat, but does not follow politics. (I am a full-on progressive and supporter of Bernie Sanders.) Despite all of them being active in and aware of politics, Pete knew more to start than all of them.
