People

Listen Later

People

People getting so impatient, they paid to secure their

salvation

Scared by the leftist turmoil that’s sweeping across the

nation

The orange man that they knighted, is ranting and raving

getting all excited

Tells his minions to arm and take to the streets, panicking

cause he’s being indicted

How many MAGAheads will join him in place of taking a

vacation?

People see the big wide tooth enamel, smiling talking about

the government dismantle

Nero fiddled; the cheese-colored clown watched his mayhem

played on every TV channel

But those who blindly marched in stride, watch fates of

those the courts have tried

Pinstripes for the suits and hoodlums alike who forced their

way illegally inside

A crazy time for the red, white, and blue. I’m just sitting

here trying to get a handle

People want Mayberry with 5G for free, high paying jobs even

if you don’t have a degree

With white picket fences and tree line boulevards ringed

with flowers as far as you can see

Crime-free populations with Sunday night bingo, more bands

like John, Paul, George, and Ringo

Crowded but friendly places to go, nobody fighting or

shooting, understanding each other’s lingo

If you per chance ever find a place like that, please do

make sure to go out of your way to tell me

People need to learn, but close their ears; propaganda on

the TV plays to their deepest fears

Out comes the hero clad in red, white, and blue; handcuffs swinging

from his middle finger to their cheers

Lady Liberty closes her eyes in disgust, find me a God who

will actually trust

A country led by greed, consumed by profits, that disses

love in favor of lust

Ellis Island is closed from the flood caused by Lady Liberty’s

tears

People…
