Points of Dispensing or "PODs" are established to provide goods or services to many as efficiently as possible.  In this episode I share planning and organizational tips to prepare for and execute a flu vaccination POD.  These PODs provide flu shots to underserved members of the public and they are a great opportunity for Public Health and Public Safety to prepare for worst case scenarios like disease outbreaks and biological attacks.

These days provided general personal preparedness, public health (me), Police, Fire and other great guidance for the general public to stay safer before, during and after disasters.  In this episode I share the health and medical focused tips.

In 2013 I completed the Texas A&M Engineering Extension (TEEX) MGT 404: Sports and Special Event Management course.  In Spring 2014 I was involved in a hot air balloon incident, not as a Plans Chief, as a passenger on a nearby balloon. In this episode I share the main topics presented in the MGT 404 course and provide my perspective as a former Incident Management practitioner and unwilling participant in an incident within an event.
