In today’s PEP talk, I discuss Team USA women’s gymnastics and specifically Simone Biles’ decision to step away from team finals at the Tokyo Olympics. I waited until the dust settled and more information came out in hopes of sharing a well rounded perspective. I hope this discussion does not end here. I hope we can all come to a fuller understanding of this event and work towards compassion while also pursuing excellence.
