According to Hebrews 10:5, quoting from Psalm 40:6, God prepared a body for Jesus so that Jesus could offer himself for us. The simple statement, “a body you have prepared for me,” speaks to the glorious mystery of the incarnation and atonement of the Lord. It also calls us to obedient service.
