She also gets to watch lesbians play rugby, to hypnotize the town with synth music, illustrate white privilege, protest sexism in television, and along the way get exposed to: furry culture, brittle bone syndrome, hot dogs, the impulse to extort fame, a headline about her, the town Navajos, and trans kids. Very progressive for the 90s.
