Percentile Vice

The wardens pursue more leads in hopes of protecting the life of Hamilton King.

This is an Actual Play of the Backwater Tabletop Roleplaying Game. After the end of civilization as we know it, humanity began to rebuild... Or at least it tried. Boasting an original game system that is both familiar and unique, and a setting reminiscent of post apocalyptic franchises such as Fallout or Bioshock, Backwater is an indie game that does a lot of things right. Backwater uses a d20 for most rolls, making contested rolls for attacks and skill based challenges, and utilizing an exquisitely organized framework to let players customize characters and get them out into the world to survive, thrive, and be horrified at what they find in the marshes, manors, and hollers. Try it out, let us know how it goes!

The Wardens make for the Temple to examine the bodies, then move on to Swifty's favorite place: THE LIBRARY! Fontenot and Gale keep watch on the King Manor, and Fontenot has an encounter that will never be forgotten...

A well-to-do fellow, being an aristocrat in his own mind, is certain that someone is coming for his head. Four wardens take up the case, and start uncovering evidence of something sinister taking place nearby the swamps of the backwater. Is the fellow right for trusting his gut, or is this a play to move on up to a better standing?

Millie and Jaker have arrived in the town of Bloodstone to find the western town in the midst of a snake festival. Against the background of this celebration of all things ophidian, there's a lot of frontier gossip about a daughter of Bloodstone who's returned, and is selling a health tonic called "Yistler's Youth Serum". Is this a marvel of modern medicine in the Old West, or just some hokey snake oil? Join our investigators as they try to find out!
