Thought it would be a good idea to share how I became the mind that I am today. Mayflower Secondary School, Ikenne Ogun State, Nigeria. Student number 10908.

This school has had the most influence on creating my life. I was there from age 10 - 15.

Glad to have my first guest on the show! It was such a fun experience and I cant wait to have more fun philosophical conversations with fun people. 

Natalie and I talk about Artificial Intelligence, purpose, freewill, suicide or coffee.... You guy know, all the usual shit we discuss on the show. Honestly, the show could have gone on for another hour!

On the topic of kids, Natalie believes that you should not have children to give your life purpose. Don't have them with the expectation that they will be there to take care of you in old age.If you do have children, you will likely experience all the joy, pain, wonder and heartache that comes from passing on your genetic material. Oh and read some books about it first!

I decided to create an audio version of my book on the podcast where Sarah and i will discuss each chapter! Should be a fun experience!

Through out human history, philosophers and philosophy have spent a good deal of time trying to understand the human condition or the human need for meaning and purpose. This is often referred to as the the first philosophical crisis of existence. 

The second as i have come to realize, is perception!

"Hell is other people," is actually a famous line from the 1944 play "No Exit," by French philosopher Jean Paul Sartre. In the play, 3 deceased characters arrive in hell, expecting flames and pitchforks. Instead, they find that their punishment is to spend eternity with each other in a plain ordinary room. 

Perception makes dealing with people complex and frustrating. And sometimes, you have no words for the bullshit other than "Hell is fucking people"!

And oh by the way, Help free Sarah from hell!

If you have ever wondered where the phrase "BITCH PLEASE," or "NIGGA PLEASE" came from, now you know!

Too often in life, these phrases run through our minds as we find ourselves having to fake empathy to make people feel comfortable; like we understand where they are coming from. 

However, it can be hard to empathize with someone else and see their pain from their point of view. You will almost always see their pain from your point of view. Hence the expression, "Bitch Please."

Today we explore the idea of faking empathy.

We have been married 9 years, been together 11. Over the years, we have gone back and forth on whether to have kids or not. So we thought to do what any rational couple would do. Put our laundry out there for the world to hear!

Mark Manson wrote a book on it and Sarah Knight gave a TED talk on the topic; the subtle art of not giving a fuck. Yet, have you ever thought that this well intended idea could be bad advice. Sure there are one off scenarios in life where NOT giving a fuck is appropriate. 

But for the most part, the life formula is this 

Your Life = What people think about you + How you see the world. 

So, you absolutely have no choice but to give a fuck. Unless of course, you are bill gates rich!
