Perception at its basic definition is how you understand, define, or believe something to be.
Look at the second like to get a more precise definition; I truly don’t think many will understand the first, as the second definition is the more relatable one to most. (Not a shot, relax) 🤣
It’s easy to see how someone perceives something by the way they act, respond, speak, don’t speak, or show body language in certain situations, conversations, or instances..
Most times perception is shaped minutes, hours, days, or years prior to the situation, conversation, or instance.
Rather than doing this, we can/should/must be in the present moment so that our past notions or perceptions aren’t killing the greatness that could be happening/not happening in the present moment;
Especially if you have a negative perception going in, the universe/yourself will grant you this desire.
This is one reason why it is so damn important to keep a positive mindset as often as possible; this mindset won’t allow negative to come into its arena; however it is easier to allow such thoughts to fester when your mindset is not in a positive state.
“An idle mind is the devils playground”
We’ve all heard this saying, it’s just saying but holds so much truth.
A mind that is not tended to will fall into the wasteland.
Be mindful. Be diligent. Be determined.
Focus on the right things so that you don’t respond the wrong way.
