E117: Mandy Rose Released From WWE....Double Standard?? AEW, Ring Of Honor, and WWE News...OH MY!

Welcome to another episode of PERCHED ON THE TOP ROPE!

We are back today after a small hiatus away, and boy do we have a lot to talk about!

• Mandy Rose's WWE release is a hug topic this week as we talk about how it happened, where we agree with WWE, where we agree with Mandy, and whether or not it is a double standard (shout out to Santi from Straight Shoot Wrestling for bringing this up) ...speaking of which:

• We talk about Matt Riddle's supposed suspension, and the woman who beat Mandy Rose for the NXT Women's Championship, Roxanne Perez! What a year she has had, and we touch on that as well!!

• Tony Khan announced the #ROH product will be coming back to #HonorClub and will include weekly television for $9.99/ mo and whether it is a good idea or not.

• Speaking of #RingOfHonor we talk about Chris Jericho's loss to #ClaudioCastagnoli at #FinalBattle and whether we agree with the finish or not.

AND

• #ChrisJericho putting over #ActionAndretti in his first ever #AEW match

Back to WWE news!

• #TheNewDay are your new NXT Tag Team Champions....is this finally the new direction they desperately needed since they've done everything ont he Main Roster!?

• #WWE's #TripleH is supposedly underwhelmed with some of the performers he rehired this past summer....is it the talent's fault or are we still dealing with the ramifications of a #VinceMcMahon WWE world?

...and last but not least....

• Vince McMahon is rumored to be trying to get back in with the good graces of WWE and supposedly wants to come back, thinking that all of his allegations would have blown over had he just stuck around....is that really #bestforbusiness?

Tune in this week to hear our thoughts and give your opinion as well!

Episode 114

Justin and Alex dive into the comments made by "Road Dogg" Jesse James about being a better professional wrestler than Bret "The Hitman" Hart. What was he thinking?

We also talk about one of the most puzzling Money In The Bank Cash ins ever when Austin Theory Cashed in this past week on Monday Night Raw against United States Champion, Seth " Freakin' " Rollins....we're still scratching our head on this one, guys.

We talk about Logan Paul's gutsy performance at Crown Jewell against Undisputed Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, and the aftermath of said match.

Speaking of the Bloodline, The Usos look to becoming the longest reigning WWE Tag Team Champions in history, as they prepare for their last defense before breaking the record tonight on Friday night Smackdown against the men who hold the record themselves, The New Day. Rest assured, we have some thoughts on that.

There was a lot that went on in Women's Wrestling this week that we will touch on including:

• Nikki Cross retiring the 24/7 Title

• Mia Yim returning on Monday Night Raw to join The OC

• The Women's War Games Match was announced for Survivor Series

• AND an absolute banger of a promo segment between Saraya and Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D, setting up Saraya's return to professional wrestling at AEW's Full Gear Paperview

Speaking of AEW Justin and Alex chime in on the amazing promo segments between MJF and Jon Moxley, setting up the AEW World Title match between the two, also set to take place at the Full Gear Paperview. Is it finally MJF's time!?

See what we think!
