Welcome everyone to Perched On The Top Rope Episode 290, AJ Lee Returning More Than A One-Off? Brock Lesnar and Wrestlepalooza? John Cena Paying Tribute!

AJ Lee Return

CM Punk fell short of winning the WWE title at Clash In Paris thanks to Seth Rollins pesky wife, Becky Lynch getting involved and costing CM Punk the match. On Raw this past week, Becky Lynch layed hands on CM Punk. With SmackDown being in Chicago this week it sure feels like a AJ Lee return is on the way!

Rumors are this won't be a one off either!

Brock Lesnar and Wrestlepalooza

John Cena being on his retirement tour has a Beast Incarnate to worry about who attacked him back at Summer Slam. However, we haven't seen Lesnar since Summer Slam and John Cena only has eight dates left and Cena is only one win away from his 100th PLE win and what a better way than to beat The Beast on ESPN's first PLE!

John Cena Paying Tribute

If you noticed Cena using others moves during his match at Clash In Paris, your eyes weren't playing tricks on you. Oh no, as a matter a fact, you can expect to see Cena doing more of it as he's paying tribute to those he won't be able to wrestle on his retirement tour.

Welcome everyone to Perched On The Top Rope Episode 288! In this episode, we discuss what happened over the weekend at Knokx Pro Wrestling event where indy-wrestler and MMA fighter, AJ Mana brought his friend Raja Jackson (son of MMA Legend Rampage Jackson) to a wrestling show he was on that is owned by WWE Hall Of Famer, Rikishi. Unfortunately, things ended rather badly for pro-wrestler Syko Stu (a real life Military Veteran).

Our host, Lee Walker does a breakdown of each video in order and gives play-byplay take what he was seen and heard on the videos. The former dirt sheet writer also reads comments from WWE Hall Of Famers RVD and Mark Henry and shares how Chael Sonnen tried to manipulate and gaslight wrestling and mma fans with his take on the incident that occurred.

A GoFundMe has been set up to help Syko Stu and the likes of Mr. Beast, Chris Jericho, Jack Perry, Rusev/Miro, Swerve Strickland and others have all donated to Syko Stu and his recovery. Currently, nearly $120,000 has been donated to Syko Stu to aid in wages that will be lost and medical bills.

Bret Hart is the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be! The WWE Hall of Famer has been criticized over the years for his complaining, so we ask you this, Is Bret Hart bitter or is Bret Hart right?

In this episode we dive deep starting from July 2nd, 1957 when Bret Sergeant Hart was born and talk his early career, things seem great in the beginning, but as Bret Hart rose to the top of the WWF, someone else had there eyes on his prize and we see the end of a friendship with the biggest star of them all, Hulk Hogan. Listen and here what caused the end of this friendship.

As his career in the WWF skyrocketed, so didn't Hart's pay... signed to an unusual deal... Vince McMahon, owner of the WWF suggests Bret looks at WCW. Hart still the WWF Champion, gets a royal screw job in Montreal as we know as The Montreal Screw Job!

While signed to WCW, Owen Hart, Bret's brother would pass on May 23rd, 1999. In that same year in December, Goldberg would deliver the, "kick heard around the world." By January 2000, Bret Hart wrestles his last match against Kevin Nash after learning about Post Concussion Syndrome.

Towards the end of his career, Bret Hart was dealt some crummy blows that weren't fair to him and a lot he missed out on in his career. Twenty-six years later, Bret Hart still takes shots at Goldberg for ending his career, Eric Bischoff for not using him right in WCW, Hulk Hogan for never putting him over and holding him back in WCW, The Kliq and many others. Is Bret Hart bitter, or is Bret Hart right?
