What I thought about Mike before I met him and knew him as a person was completely limited by the ‘outside looking in perspective.’ (13:20 – 13:28)
It’s extremely important to understand that just because you have an assumption or an idea of what you think someone or something is like, there’s nothing wrong with that… What's most important… is that you don’t allow your assumptions to prevent you from seeing what’s actually true. (14:51–15:15)

7. Those lessons are the best ones to learn. Going on in life I can think back to all those times people helped me. Listen, I’m not one of these stories you look back on and I’m patting myself on the chest.
