Sermon by Pastor David Ryu on Sunday January 81, 2026 at Diaspora Church. The sermon text comes from 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24.
The slowness of our sanctification or the lack of progress in holiness, is one of the most painful disappointments that Christians can face. But Paul reminds us that God Himself is the source of their sanctification and He will not stop His work until there is no more corruption of sin within us. Therefore, Christians can fight the good fight with certain hope that God will bring us to perfection, for His own pleasure and glory.
