1 Corinthians 10:13 and 1 Peter 1:3-7 tell us that tests in life come when necessary, and God is faithful to not allow us to go through it all if it’s beyond our ability. The Biblical examples of Abraham and Joseph are proof that there is a process to get to the prophesied promise.

In Genesis 12:1-4, God called Abram to take a step of faith, leave everything behind, and walk onto the new beginning that God has destined and planned for him that he may be blessed. We, too, are being called out of our comforts, and to walk in faith with God. As we go forth, we should not be fearful but trustful in God for He knows what’s best for us.

In Acts 27, Pastor Donnie McClurkin teaches us that the path to our life’s purpose is filled with ups and downs. We go through problems, we go through storms, we go through disappointments, but these should not derail us from reaching our destined purpose. Praise God in the storms of life and trust Him to get you through them. You’ll eventually get to where God destined you to be.
