Perfectly F'n Imperfect

In today's episode, I give a little bit of background to my creative story. I also want to address to topics of finding inspiration and how to find inspiration from other artists without copying their work.

A mini motivational episode to remind you we are all perfectly f'n imperfect and we are doing the best we can - and that is enough!

Listen in every Monday for a nice restart for the week - Weekly inspiration, goal, journal entry question and a one minute breathing meditation.

In today's episode I talk about three different things that have caused me anxiety. I find it important to make conversations over every day life anxieties that people may not talk about to make people feel related too. What are some of your random anxieties?

Monday Morning Inspiration episodes are here to hopefully inspire and help you have a fresh start to your week - uploaded every Monday at 6am, these episodes talk about my inspiration of the morning, my personal and creative goals of the week (all of these so far in hopes you will contemplate the same), a quote of the day, a journal entry question of the day, and a breathing meditation to close out the episode.

A discussion with my fellow artist and friend Beatriz, we discuss all things the power of art - from the movements, the Renaissance, cultural identity, Sex Education (the show) and more!

From Zoom studio classes to creative block, 2020 brought a lot of outside anxieties, pressures, and stress and influenced and impacted all of us. This can and will impact our creativity as we are adjusting and relearning a new normal. The main idea to take away from this new episode is that we all faced tremendous and traumatic anxieties and moments, and we have to give ourselves credit for even jus trying. We did good, we made it through. Now, 2021 can bring us an opportunity for a new start. Much love.

In this episode I just give a brief introduction to the podcast, explaining the title and expressing my thoughts on the language around "good" versus "bad" art.
