Do you have a list of qualities that you look for in a faithful friend? I have the PERFECT friend for you that will hit all of those qualities for sure. His name is Jesus! Galatians 5:22-23

Are you doing acts of kindness and goodness? Are you doing them for free or expecting something in return? God did the ultimate act of kindness and goodness by dying for our sins! We can never repay that, so stop expecting repayment from others! Galatians 5:22-23 Romans 11:6 Hebrews 13:16

Do you struggle with patience as much as I do? Patience is not something that I was blessed with, but I am working on it! I want to have the same amount of patience that God has with me with others! I also want to have more patience with God and remember that His timing is always perfect! Galatians 5:22-23; 1 Corinthians 13:4; 2 Peter 3:9; Isaiah 40:31; and Habakkuk 2:3

Have you ever wanted the peace that some of our Christian friends have? I have struggled with anxiety and worry for a good portion of my life, and I recently realized that God doesn’t want us to live like that! Pastor Lee Hyman gave a list of joy killers: self inflicted expectations; unforgivness; and sin of any kind that’s allowed to grow and thrive. Make sure that you address your joy killers and hand them over to God! He also listed some joy generators: acknowledge God’s joyfulness; display God’s attributes in worship; live in biblical community with others; talk to others about Jesus; give it to God; and remain close to Jesus.
