S4:E7 - Perfil Bilingüe: Bilingual Student to Bilingual Teacher
Hola, hola!
This week we’re back with another amazing educator, Ms. Rita! Rita is an elementary teacher teaching fourth grade. She has taught many grades from Pre-K to fourth, and she expresses how each one of them is special in their own way. In this episode, Rita talks about her experiences growing up and how her life path led her to education. She came to the United States when she was a bit older, and faced some challenges in the school system, as well as culture shock, upon arrival. Despite this, she decided to dive into bilingual education to help students who may face challenges as she did while she was growing up.

This year, they will be shaking things up as plans for teacher resources, monthly check-ins and a Teacher Trip is in the works.
