    Original Condition

In today’s segment, David Masters discusses a thought-provoking audio piece from Roy Masters, recorded in the early 1980s. This continuation from yesterday’s program delves into the complex relationship between men and women, exploring themes rooted in the idea of an “alien identity” within individuals. Masters, who has been sharing his insights since the mid-1960s, presents his thoughts on the original conditions of male-female dynamics in the context of the Garden of Eden. Throughout the audio, some statements may come across as blaming women for certain issues, though Masters insists he is not placing the blame solely on them. His reflections on this topic have often attracted controversy from mainstream commentators and, as listeners will note, the audience’s reaction is one of hesitance, perhaps unsure of how to engage with such heavy material. The discussion provides an intriguing lens through which to view the state of interpersonal relationships, especially considering the socio-political climate of the last few years, where expressing agreement or disagreement with certain figures or ideas has often felt fraught and challenging. Overall, the broadcast captures a moment of deep exploration into the intricate dynamics between men and women.

    Who Is Roy Masters?

On today’s episode of the Perilous World Radio show, David Masters took center stage with a compelling solo discussion titled “Who Is Roy Masters?” From the very beginning, he welcomed listeners with infectious enthusiasm, ready to unravel the intricate tapestry of the many faces we wear in life.

David couldn’t help but reflect on a particularly impactful show his father aired back in the 1980s. One episode that profoundly resonated with him was titled “The Alien Identity Within.” This concept wasn’t about extraterrestrial beings but rather delved into the darker sides of human nature that lurk within each of us. According to Masters, this “alien identity” is a universal human experience, suggesting that while we all possess these shadowy aspects, only Jesus transcended them.

To enrich the conversation, David shared poignant clips from his father’s vintage recordings, allowing listeners to dive deep into the profound sense of calm that enveloped the audience as he spoke candidly about his own encounters with trauma. Through these shared moments, we gain a window into the lasting emotional weight that trauma can leave behind, and how its effects can shape our lives long after the events have passed. These recordings not only illuminate his father’s past but also serve as a powerful reminder of the resilience we need to navigate the lingering consequences of our experiences.

David invites you to delve deeper into his father’s teachings. You can find more information, lectures, and insights from Roy Masters at www.fhu.com. Additionally, the site offers the “Be Still and Know” meditation exercise for those interested in exploring these concepts further.

    Tox·ic

Toxic: very harmful or unpleasant in a pervasive or insidious way.

In the recent episode of the Perilous World Radio show, hosted by David and Jan Masters, the discussion centered around the theme of toxic people. David shared his observations from news coverage, pointing out the portrayal of certain political figures as harmful and spreading misinformation. He reflected on how these individuals label others, particularly those aligned with the MAGA movement, as enemies.

The conversation then shifted to the guidance provided by the Bible on handling difficult relationships. While the Scriptures advocate for love, forgiveness, and reconciliation, they also stress the importance of discernment and the need to establish boundaries to protect oneself from negative influences. A highlighted verse from Proverbs (22:24-25) cautions against befriending an angry person, emphasizing that such associations can lead one to adopt harmful behaviors and undermine their own well-being.

Jan shares a powerful story about a man and his toxic stepfather. Despite the emotional abuse he endured as a child, the man found strength through his Christian faith. During a visit with his aging stepfather, he felt compelled to give him $100, despite believing he owed nothing. This act led to deeper conversations about faith. When the stepfather fell ill, the man prayed for him, wishing for his redemption. Remarkably, the following day, the stepfather told a nurse that he had made peace with God, no longer fearing hell. This story powerfully illustrates the possibility of forgiveness and redemption, even for those who have caused great harm.

In just the first hour of the show, there’s already so much to discover! I Am, Who I Am Not!

On today’s episode of Perilous World Radio with hosts, David Masters and Jan Masters, the topic of personal transformation was explored, particularly how individuals often end up vastly different from how they began. Using the military as an example, it was noted that the process of entering the armed forces fundamentally changes a person; this idea can also be applied to life itself, which frequently rearranges our paths in unexpected ways. A significant aspect of this transformation is the expectations we hold—both for ourselves and for others. When these expectations are not met, resentment can arise, leading to a toxic cycle that can feel overwhelming. This resentment acts like poison, as it can foster a desire for revenge against those we feel have let us down. Reflecting on life’s pivotal moments, it’s clear that everyone experiences instances that redirect their journey, prompting the ongoing need to navigate complex emotions surrounding unmet expectations.

David discusses the idea that people can unintentionally set us up to fail, highlighting a common theme from his father’s teachings: resentment can bind us to those we react against. He emphasizes that instead of responding with anger, betrayal, or judgment, we should observe the pain others cause without allowing it to control us. When individuals provoke feelings of conflict and inner turmoil, they can gain a form of control over us.

David further explains that these challenging moments serve as tests of our character and our ability to stay centered amidst deception. He mentions that by ceasing emotional reactions, we reclaim our power over the situation and the manipulative forces at play. Through practices like the “Be Still and Know” meditation exercise, we can step back, gain clarity, and respond with discernment, rather than resentment. By doing so, we not only protect ourselves from emotional entanglement but also maintain our inner peace.

Get ready to join Jan and David as they embark on their latest journey to explore life! Anticipate engaging discussions that will spark uncomfortable self-reflections, guiding you to deeper connections with God in the process. Don’t miss out on the transformative experiences that lie ahead!

    The Good News

Good day, esteemed listeners. Welcome to the Perilous World Radio Show. Today, we are joined by our hosts, Jan Masters and David Masters. We extend our warmest wishes to David on his birthday. Jan refers to the Bible as the “Good News,” particularly in light of the challenges we face in our contemporary world, characterized by adversity and suffering. However, there is an encouraging perspective; these trials serve a greater purpose, allowing us to cultivate a deeper appreciation for our Creator. It is essential to envision a future free from pain and suffering, where love prevails, and there is no sin or ill will—yet our consciousness will remain intact. Jan posits that through the experience of suffering, individuals often develop a sense of humility. This process enables one to cultivate a deeper appreciation for the individuals who offer their love and support.

David shares a clip from the late Roy Masters that discusses the themes of judgment and condemnation. Masters emphasizes that our perception shapes our experience of life. If our perception is clear and free from faults, our lives will be illuminated. Conversely, if our perception is tainted or evil, it darkens our existence. He warns that one cannot serve two masters; doing so leads to inner conflict, where one will either despise their conscience or embrace negativity.

The idea is that choosing to embrace darkness could lead to the loss of personal freedoms, as those who have a darkened mindset often seek to remain in ignorance. Masters suggests that when one allows fear and negative influences to dictate their identity, they become servants to those very forces. This servitude can transform a person, leading them to adopt traits of those they despise.

By hating what is evil, individuals may inadvertently become ensnared by it, as it thrives on our resentment. Masters highlights the struggle between good and evil, suggesting there are two opposing forces at play in our lives, and our choices define who we ultimately become.

We appreciate your joining us! Be sure to check out www.fhu.com for more of Roy Masters’ videos, insightful conversations, and a wealth of additional content waiting for you.

    All Who Sin Are Slaves

In today’s episode of the Perilous World Radio show, hosted by David Masters, the focus is on both personal reflection and a new project inspired by his father, Roy Masters. The show coincides with the anniversary of David’s father’s visit to the Holy Father four years ago. David plans to share various audio clips from Roy Masters, whom he affectionately refers to as the “superior one.”

David is currently working on a project that aims to compile Roy Masters’ teachings in a way that aligns with biblical principles. This collection, titled “Undeniable Truths of Life,” emphasizes the idea that true virtue and understanding come not from comfort or emotional gratification, but through the quiet stillness where one can connect with God.

As part of his manuscript, David begins by discussing the theme of slavery, drawing from biblical scripture that states, “all who sin are slaves.” He elaborates that this slavery can manifest in various forms, such as addiction—whether to food, pleasure, or other distractions. He warns that many people live under the illusion of freedom while being trapped in a different kind of spiritual enslavement. David invites listeners on a journey of awakening and clarity, encouraging them to prepare for both realizations and potential discomfort as they explore these profound truths.

    Self Discovery and Mastery

In the latest episode of the Perilous World Radio show, host David Masters invites listeners on a riveting journey through the chaos of our modern existence, illuminating how this tumult infiltrates our everyday lives. With a discerning eye, he reflects on the predictable rhythms of news programming, drawing from his extensive experience as a consumer of Fox News. Masters delivers a passionate critique of the network and others like it, highlighting their tendency to recycle the same talking points and soundbites, often presenting perspectives he views as “the enemy.”

This relentless cycle, he argues, stifles genuine understanding and fails to unearth the deeper truths we urgently need to navigate the turbulent landscape that surrounds us. While fleeting glimpses of truth may emerge amidst the discourse, they frequently fall short of illuminating the complex issues we face as a society. Masters implores listeners to transcend surface-level conversations, championing a profound exploration of truth that gets to the heart of our collective struggles.

At the core of his message is the compelling notion of self-mastery—a transformative idea centered on confronting a cunning adversary that exploits our vulnerabilities. This foe isn’t solely external; it often resides within us, subtly influencing our thoughts and undermining our confidence at critical moments. Too many of us unwittingly cede control to this internal saboteur, leading to self-sabotage. The phrase “your own worst enemy” poignantly encapsulates this inner battle, urging us to reflect on how we might be impeding our progress.

Recognizing and confronting this internal adversary is a crucial step towards realizing true self-mastery. So, join David as he shatters the confines of conventional thinking, guiding you on an empowering journey of self-discovery and mastery. Don’t merely settle for the noise—dare to delve deeper!.

    For The Greater Good

IIn today’s episode of Perilous World Radio, hosts Alan Masters and Brian Bouteller dove into the importance of Maundy Thursday, which happens the day before Good Friday. This day is meaningful because it commemorates the Last Supper of Jesus, where He encouraged His followers to love and serve one another. Alan admitted he was surprised by how little he knew about these traditions, which sparked a lively discussion between the hosts.

They also talked about the differences between two calendars: the Julian calendar and the Gregorian calendar. This year is notable because both Eastern Orthodox Christians and Western Christians will celebrate Easter on the same date, which is quite rare. As they talked about Holy Week, Alan shared his feelings of inner conflict related to the heavy history of these events. He is on a journey to find his life’s purpose and likened this struggle to letting go of pride and dishonesty that block his spiritual growth, recognizing his tendency to cling to negativity.

Alan also shared his thoughts on ambition and ego, pointing out that while they can drive creativity, they can also lead to problems if not kept in check. Brian chimed in, noting that strong emotions can have both positive and negative effects, making it essential to focus these feelings on a greater good.
