Throughout her career, she has made a lasting impact in a variety of roles, from educator to assistant principal, in schools across Melbourne, Australia.

Maria is the author of the beloved Perky Panda series, which sparks creativity, fosters a love of learning, and helps children build confidence through engaging stories.

Maria is honoured to be nominated and a finalist of the World Literacy Awards for her contribution to Literacy by an individual.
