Podcasting is not as easy as it seems and neither is anything else in life worth having. After launching the first episode (which I was dissatisfied with, blame the overachiever in me) the Holy Spirit reminded me that at each new level I must become a beginner again and how unfairly I was treating myself by expecting "expert level execution" while still in my infancy as a podcaster! He gently reminded me that if I didn't like it, nothing was stopping me from starting again. It was such a breath of fresh air and just the encouragement and push I needed to come out of sulking. As I began to asses my dissatisfaction, I extracted some lessons that led to the design of a different approach that would lead me to different results. And then I began to see how the lessons I learned from my first podcast were transferable and could be applicable to everyone in a season of transition moving from one level to the next in any area of their life.
