Have you ever noticed how easy it is to lose a good rhythm? Morning prayer, journaling with your coffee still warm, a walk around the block — and then life happens. A trip, family in town, a deadline that won't move, a health scare that rearranges everything overnight. And before long you're looking at the wreckage of your good intentions wondering, "What happened to me?"
In this episode of the Hallway series, Pat shares how the last few weeks pulled her clean out of her own rhythms — and the gentle whisper that stopped her mid-scramble: maybe she never left the track at all.
Together we'll walk through three truths for the hallway:
• God doesn't leave you because your routine changes — we mistake routine for relationship.
• Hallways disrupt old rhythms on purpose — He may not be asking you to recover your old routine, but inviting you to discover a new rhythm.
• Grace begins again every morning — the Holy Spirit isn't asking "Why did you stop?" He's asking, "Would you like to walk with Me today?"
Write this one down and put it on your mirror: "God is not waiting for you at the end of your routine. He's walking with you in the middle of your interruption."
Mentioned in this episode:
• A Quiet Quest — Pat's new community on Skool for women walking through the in-between seasons
• Pat's new 21-day guided journal for the Hallway season, available on Amazon
Next week in the Hallway: How do you know which rhythms God actually wants you to keep? Because not every rhythm deserves to come back with you.
Until then, friend — be gentle with yourself.
