If you enjoy Perrysburg History, you'll enjoy this episode. In this episode, Perrysburg Historian Richard Baranowski talks about how he did the research for the walking tour, how to get in touch with him, and more.
For context, last week's episode (Episode 22) was a walking tour of the east side of the 100 block of Louisiana Avenue in Historic Downtown Perrysburg, led by Richard Baranowski. Our interview was recorded in the local history room at Way Public Library in November 2023 right after we recorded the second half of the walking tour.
Thanks for everything, Richard!

Perrysburg has a reputation as a small town with a low crime rate, but crime still happens here. To learn more about what a porch pirate it, how they affect Perrysburg, and how Perrysburg residents can avoid being victims of porch pirates, I spoke to City of Perrysburg Police Officer and crime prevention specialist, Stephen Loar. Listen to the end for a bonus about 2 smartphone apps that help Perrysburg residents communicate with one another about crime. Those tips come from both City of Perrysburg Police Officer Stephen Loar and the City of Perrysburg's Public Information Officer, Marie Dunn.
