The Visigoths, Vandals, and Ostrogoths were tribes with differing beliefs from Rome. The last of these tribes, the Ostrogoths, began the 1260 days or years of spiritual darkness. The Pope established himself by the sixth century, and the church recognized the bishop of Rome as its head. The Pope Christians forced to abandon their principles and accept papal worship and rites. The prophetic visions of Daniel and the Apocalypse emphasize the importance of faithfulness and devotion to God and His truth, as the planet does not lack a ruler and a detailed plan for future occurrences.
