I start by talking quickly about Persico Perspective - a new page I have started on Instagram to share more stories about my thoughts/feelings. I then talk about my anxiety/social anxiety, my first panic attack, how I deal with panic attacks and also how drinking brings on my anxiety.

This week, Ricci sat down with Cory, who has relocated to Sydney for the 2021/22 A-Leauge as the assistant physio for the Wellington Phoenix. We chat about life in Australia with the team, imposter syndrome, his passion project @ourkiwitoolbox, and talk about the tools we both use when the world seems too tough to face. It's Movember, so what better time to talk about Men's mental health. I sit down and talk about the journey I have been on over the past year - from moving to a new city without a job, a break-up and realising a lot about myself. I discuss the three things I have learnt about myself over this whole journey and go over the things I have been doing to get my mental health in check and learn to get my confidence back and be my normal self!

I sat down with Anna Grimaldi who is a Paralympic athlete and the current gold medalist for the T47 women's long jump. We talk about her preparation for Tokyo given the whole COVID thing as well her current training, her thoughts on the Olympics and those cardboard beds everyone has been talking about!

I sit down with Conrad who is a registered Dietician who works with the Crusaders and a host of other athletes/people.

I sat down and talked to Tasman Mako and Highlanders Number 10 Mitchell Hunt. 

We talked about his journey to where he is and his decision to shift from the Crusaders down south to the Highlanders. I asked about the differences between the two franchises and if any of the landers boys gave him a bit of stick about his infamous dropkick against the Highlanders a few years prior.

We finished by talking about how he deals with comments and messages online after a bad performance and then talked about what is so special about playing for the Tasman Mako.

This was a cool one for me personally, as I grew up playing U15,16 and 1st XV footy with Mitch at Nelson College, and it's awesome to hear about his journey and to see where he has got to!

I sit down and chat with Luke who has followed a similar path to myself. We talk about his journey and the amount of volunteering he completed starting out and ways to change the industry for the better.

I sit down with Billy who is fresh off of 81 days of straight multisport events from Helensville to Bluff and back. We discuss support crew, his why as well as how he keeps pushing when he gets into a dark space during an event.

Ricci sits down with WellFit Studio owner Tom Olorenshaw to chat about trying to open a gym during COVID as well as talking about one of the things that makes his gym such a unique experience compared to its competitors - its community feel.

I sit down with Northern Mystics pre-season training partner Dani Gray and chat to her about how the pre-season went, what a typical training week and session looks like as well as 2 year return to netball from an ACL injury suffered playing for the Southern Steel.
