Christ is a compassionate Savior, and His call to all of humanity is to come to Him and trust in Him for forgiveness and grace and healing and life. How sad it is that the prevailing wisdom of the age teaches either that there is no God, or that if there is One, He is not to be bothered. In this passage of Scripture, we see a desperate, blind beggar who would not be silenced by the crowd because he knew beyond the shadow of a doubt that Jesus was his only hope of salvation.
