  • Finding Your Way

  • 3 Ways to Win the Morning (and Win the Day)

The way you begin your morning can shape the way you experience the rest of your day.

And sometimes, all it takes is a few simple practices.

Start with a little silence. Give yourself time to simply be before the world begins asking things of you.

Then, bring intention to the day ahead. Not just what you want to accomplish, but how you want to show up. How you want to feel, how you want to treat others, and the kind of person you want to be.

And finally, choose one thing that matters to you and give it your attention. It could be a project, a hobby, something you've been meaning to try, or simply something that brings you joy.

You don't have to accomplish everything in a single day.

But with a little stillness, intention, and meaningful action, you might be surprised by how beautifully your days begin to unfold.

  • The Multiplication Effect

My dad shared an idea with me recently: what we focus on tends to multiply.

When our attention stays on what’s missing, it can begin to feel like everything is missing. But when we notice what’s already good, we begin to experience more of that too.

A reflection on attention, gratitude, and how the way we see our lives can shape the lives we experience.

  • Direction for Your 20's

Your 20's can be an interesting time. There are so many different directions you could go, so many things you could build, and so many ideas about what a good life is supposed to look like.

In this episode, I share a few thoughts on creating a little space to explore what you're drawn toward and slowly discovering what feels meaningful to you.

Maybe finding direction is less about having everything figured out and more about giving yourself enough room to find out.

  • A Thought on Wisdom

My brother and I were talking about wisdom, and we landed on an interesting thought: maybe part of wisdom is simply the ability to learn.

Not everything has to happen to us personally before we understand it. We can learn by observing, listening, and accepting what is already there.

And perhaps attachment gets in the way of that. The more attached we are to a certain outcome, belief, or version of ourselves, the harder it becomes to see clearly.

This is a conversation about acceptance, learning without always needing the experience ourselves, and continuing to act fully without becoming attached to what comes from it.

  • Our Parents Have Dreams Too

Today is my dad’s birthday, and we spent part of the day sitting together and recording a few podcast episodes. It ended up being one of the most meaningful parts of my day.

In this episode, I share a thought about our parents and the dreams they have for their own lives. As we work toward building something for ourselves, we may eventually find ourselves in a position to collaborate with them.

This is a reflection on getting to know our parents beyond the roles they’ve played in our lives, and taking the time to ask what they still hope to do.

  • 3 Questions to Help You Find Your Path

The things that naturally hold our attention can sometimes tell us more than we realize.

In this episode, I explore how our interests can develop into skills and eventually become something useful to others.

This is a reflection on finding work that feels meaningful while creating something that matters beyond yourself.

  • Choosing a Direction for Yourself

Choosing a direction in life can feel difficult when there are many different paths you could take.

In this episode, I explore the idea of svabhāva, a Sanskrit word that can be understood as our own nature or disposition. Rather than constantly asking what we should be doing, perhaps part of finding direction is paying closer attention to what feels naturally meaningful to us.

This is a reflection on choosing a direction without needing to have your entire life figured out.

  • Making Decisions

Sometimes the hardest part of making a decision is not the decision itself. It’s everything surrounding it.

In this episode, I explore the idea of prasanna-cetasaḥ, a clear or serene state of mind, and what the wisdom can teach us about making choices from a calmer place.

When the mind is pulled by fear, pressure, attachment, or endless overthinking, even simple decisions can become difficult. But when we create a little space between ourselves and the noise, we may begin to see things differently.

I share some reflections on slowing down, finding clarity, and learning to make decisions without needing absolute certainty.
