“We all have two lives, and the second begins when we realize we have only one.”

This episode marks the end of this podcast series, so I want to use this episode as a way to reflect, celebrate and sow the seeds for my future. Today, I am talking about death, life and peace.

Although I still struggle with death now, I am starting to see the beauty in it. I am starting to see that death ironically breeds life. There is this natural balance in play.

Even though I have struggles with moving on from this podcast series, I am making my peace with it. What’s helped with this transition is shifting my focus from what’s dying to what’s living.

As a matter of fact, I even use death as a way to live more fully. In an odd way, death is simplifying life for me and teaching me how to live – to live in a way as if I only have one life.

As I reflect on my past, appreciate the present and plan for my future, I found that death is what inspired the life I have lived this past year, the life I am living now and the life I plan to live in the future.

So even as I say peace out to this podcast series, I am also genuinely excited for my future and what’s ahead.

Dreams beget other dreams, not just for yourself personally but for other people as well.

When you identify who you truly are, embrace yourself and chase after your dreams, you naturally inspire other people through your actions. So, I encourage that if you have a dream, do it not only for yourself but also for the people who look up to you.

I am not here to tell you that dreams are all sunshine and rainbows either. Chasing your dreams is fucking hard. In the pursuit of your dreams, you will face some of the greatest challenges of your life.

There may even be times when you may even question whether or not to keep chasing after it, but I urge you in those moments to keep believing, fighting and manifesting.

You never know where that one extra push will take you and how it will inspire others. By keeping your dreams alive, you naturally keep the dreams of others alive as well.

This is why I want to share my dreams with you, in hopes to inspire yours.

Today, I am sharing how I made the decision to effectively leave corporate and focus on pursuing my passions. During this process, I realized there are two parts to making any great decision: one is the decision itself and the other is the visceral reaction you have in the decision. In order to make the best decision that feels right to you, you must achieve mental, emotional and spiritual alignment first.

This three-pronged approach was instrumental in my decision to take my Second Leap of Faith and I will breakdown every part of it with my personal experiences. By the end of the episode, I hope that you gain a better sense of how to use the mental, emotional and spiritual decision-making framework and apply it in your life.
