Your first year in college is all about transitions. Some of it personal - i.e., what kind of person you want to develop into, what kind of contribution you want to make to your family and community … some of it may be academic transitions - the kind of “homework” you get, how you study for your exams, how you participate in class and some of it may be a public transition - moving out of Hawaiʻi, moving out of your home…...Some of these transitions may be harder than others. How do you manage these transitions? How do you navigate through them? How do you prepare for them?
