Perspective For Today

Today we continue with our study of Romans chapter 7 and the law.. Without the law our minds would be our own little playground. We would have no conviction of the law to hold us accountable for our thoughtless thoughts. 

This is a special episode of Perspective For Today featuring Pastor John Betts of Abundant Life Church who will be taking an in depth look at how our country has gotten so far from God and His will for His people.

Today we are going to finish chapter 6. It is only through the truth that we find in God's word that we can truly be set free.

Today's episode continues on with verse 11 of Romans. Paul makes it clear that we can't serve two masters. Either we are obedient to God and serve Him or we are a slave to sin.

Hi and welcome to Perspective For Today. We're going to depart from Romans for this week. I wanted to tackle the subject of serving others and what God may be calling you to do. 

Today we are starting chapter 6 in Romans. Today's episode deals with Christ's death and resurrection and how it directly impacts us as Christians.

Today we are going to finish chapter 5 of Romans. Today's study will focus on how God has given us the gifts of Grace, righteousness, and eternal life and how we should be giving him thanks and praise and glorifying his name for that amazing Grace

Today we are going to continue our study of Romans chapter 5. The substitutionary death of Christ removes the cause of our hostility toward God, more specifically our sins. Through our faith in Christ we have been reconciled to God. Through His death we are saved and through his resurrection we are kept from now till eternity.

Today we continue on with our study of Romans chapter 5. The same Grace that was afforded to Jesus is now available to us. We are welcomed into the kingdom as sons and daughters, not as strangers. Not as those who have forsaken God.We rejoice in the hope of seeing almighty God in all his splendor. We ourselves will be manifested in that Glory.

In today's episode of Romans we ask, Do you live your life as though God's promises are true or do you question God at every turn? Are you sold out for Christ or can you be bought by the enticements of a sinful world?
