Perspectives Digital is excited to announce the 50th release featuring a collaboration between label boss Darin Epsilon and prolific producer Cid Inc from Finland.  The two highly respected artists have collaborated on a multitude of universally praised projects, including their ‘Outliers’ release in 2015, which launched the label’s first Beatport Play remix contest.

More recently, the duo achieved monumental success with their remix of ‘Auralphase’ by Robert Babicz, which charted in Beatport’s Top 100 Techno Tracks for 50 consecutive days!  On the brink of their next DJ tour spanning from Canada to South America, they team up once again to bring us ‘Resistencia’ & ‘Myndie’ for this milestone release.

The first track ‘Resistencia’ was inspired from Darin and Cid’s performances in northeast Argentina. This track evokes the vibrancy and love from the city it was named after. ’Resistencia’ is an uplifting journey that takes flight with warm and lush pads weaving into radiant chord progressions.

On the flip side is ‘Myndie’, a name which stuck with Cid Inc after his performance at the Rainbow Serpent festival earlier this year.  In Aboriginal Australian culture, the mythological rainbow serpent is considered to be either the giver of life or cause of great destruction, and is one of the oldest continuing religious beliefs in the world.  Creating a rumbling energy and nefarious vibe with its hard kick, shuffling highs, and mechanical sounds, the track will surely be a formidable force on the dancefloor.

The 48th release on Darin Epsilon’s Perspectives Digital sees Antrim back for his 4th release on the label.  Since the youthful age of 14, the native Argentinean has been crafting his impressive abilities of layering sounds to entice the most discerning electronic music fan.  Antrim’s works have consistently captured the attention of industry leaders and in 2013, Nick Warren selected his track ‘Blow Your Mind’ for his Renaissance compilation.  Antrim has an extensive number of releases on labels such as Hope Recordings, Perfecto, Stripped Recordings, and Sound Avenue.  

Antrim’s latest original works demonstrate his trademark of combining diverse and thought-provoking sounds. ‘Bipolar’ immediately grabs a hold on the listener with airy pads embraced by a soft and floating melody. ‘Red Journey’ aims to please with a punchy kick wrapped in a warm bassline, bouncy melody, and an ominous vocal sample.

Following the success of his ‘Thousand Winds’ EP, which was on Beatport’s Top 100 continuously for 30 days, Darin Epsilon is back on his own imprint remixing Antrim’s ‘Bipolar’.  The past year proved to be momentous for the label boss with his hectic touring schedule, relocation to Berlin, and surge of releases on several massive labels including Sudbeat, Parquet Recordings, Perfecto, Proton Music, and Chapter 24.  His interpretation undoubtedly carries a heavy groove while the signature melody hits perfectly between the mesmerizing layers of intricate percussion.

D33P made his debut on our ‘ADE 2016 Sampler’ last October with an Instrumental Mix of ‘Sorry’. Hailing from Tel Aviv, he’s been making waves in the industry since 2009 with releases on respected labels such as Diynamic and Parquet Recordings. The Vocal Mix displays some bright harmonious chords and strong emotions while staying true to his impeccable and poignant style.

Back on Perspectives is the unstoppable duo, Jos & Eli, whose notoriously smooth, sensual, groovy style is on full display with two dramatically different remixes of ‘Sorry’. The highly acclaimed artists have been gaining momentum and picking up new followers at lightning speed recent releases on Diynamic, Sudbeat, Parquet, Einmusika, and Steyoyoke. Jos & Eli’s first remix delivers velvety bass, intricate percussion, and sweeping melodies, while their 4am Mix captures the audience with its driving percussion, grimy melodies, and stabbing chords.

Kosmas, also known as Kosmas Epsilon, makes his long-awaited return to the label. The Greek artist’s dreamy and hypnotic grooves have been filling dancefloors by world-renowned DJs for over a decade. Kosmas completes this release with a deep and mysterious yet energizing interpretation of ‘Sorry’.

The 45th release on Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital finds the label showcasing its fourth ADE Sampler. Amsterdam Dance Event has grown into one of electronic music's most important annual gatherings. A wide variety of artists, DJ’s, and industry brands are showcased over the week-long event. The conference has also become the ideal testing ground for some of the fall season's biggest records.

The fifth and final selection is provided by Hungarian producer Paul Kardos. All great artists have their own production hallmarks and Paul has certainly developed some of his own. On ’The Other’ we get a taste of his melodic techno and contemporary progressive house blend. From its warm, fluid foundation and metallic leads, there’s a lot to like. Its strongest suit perhaps is an emotive core built around smooth chord changes and modular melodies. A timely break and strong third act builds on its sense of reflection and closes the release out on a sentimental note.

The sampler's third selection welcomes D33P to the label following strong releases on Diynamic and Parquet Recordings. Since his debut in 2009, the Israeli artist has won over even the most heady electronic music connoisseurs. His well kept discography shows immaculate detail on each and every production and the instrumental mix of 'Sorry' is no different. Emotive but with a quirky flair, D33P has crafted a modern melodic bomb which plays out over nine magical minutes.

Chris Gavin is no stranger to Perspectives having appeared on the label's 2014 'WMC Sampler'. The French artist now returns following a steady stream of releases for Omid 16B's Alola Records and SexOnWax Recordings. 'Reincarnated' gets the sampler off to a great start with Chris’ trademark deep and soulful grooves. A storyboard of wispy vocals and cross-cultural motifs quickly take the track to a mystical place. A dreamy break proves to be the ultimate centerpiece with timeless chord stabs carrying the mix home.
