We speak with Organization Effectiveness Manager, Edwin Zuluaga.

Edwin is based out of St. Louis, Missouri, he works within our Health Care system, & is responsible for Change Management.

Edwin has a fascinating story. He is a first -generation college graduate. His parents immigrated from Bogota & Medellin, Colombia to the US in the late 1980’s. After graduating high school, in a fast paced city like Miami, instead of choosing college or obtaining a job, Edwin decided to become a Franciscan Friar (Monk).

Franciscan, is a member of the Roman Catholic religious order founded in the early 13th century by St. Francis of Assisi. The Franciscan order is one of the four great mendicant orders of the church, and its members strive to cultivate the ideals of poverty and charity.

He decided to move to the Bronx NY, to study with Franciscan Friars. This meant waking up at 5am everyday for meditation, morning prayer followed by mass, community work, evening prayer and night prayer.…..this went on for about 4 years all at the age of 19!!

After some time, Edwin decided to leave the Franciscan brotherhood, to attend college, he graduated and eventually worked his way up to earning a Bachelors & Masters in Social Work to eventually becoming a Change Management rep at one of the nation’s major healthcare institutions.

We speak with Replay Operator Derek Loucks.

Loucks, is based out of Central Florida and is in his 7th year working in

media. He is the winner of the 2015 College Television Award Emmy for

Best Documentary for his role in Filthy Dreamers.

Filthy Dreamers is about Florida law makers and religious activist in 1928 who sought to ban

classes and books on evolution at the school that later became Florida

State University.

Derek for the last few years has been a freelance replay operator for

live sporting events. We’ll chat about

his career highlights, we’ll also discuss how the Covid-19 pandemic has

effected the freelance/contract sports production world.

We’ll talk about his production experiences within the revolutionary WNBA bubble (WUBBLE) and we’ll get into his role within the media industry.

We speak with Behavioral Therapist Dannia Ramirez. Ramirez, is based out of South Florida and is in her 5th year practicing behavioral therapy. She mainly works with children with developmental disorders. She’ll talk to us about how the Covid-19 pandemic has affected families that have autistic kids, & children with developmental disorders.

We’ll discuss how changes to routines have effected families, how limited the means of assistance has been due to the pandemic, the lack of professional training in the industry, and we’ll get into her first-hand experience working in the front lines of behavioral therapy.

We speak to Florida House of Representatives Legislative Aide Daphnee Arana, & Florida Senate Legislative Aide Gianna Trocino. We discuss the impact, importance and role of local government & elections.

He takes us through his journey climbing to the top of his profession. Perez is currently a Communications professor at St Thomas University.
