The Pet Peeves Podcast is a pet informational broadcast hosted by stand up comedian and veterinary technician, Albert Escobedo.

This episode, we have Michael Beeghley, formerly of Ohio, then South Korea, and now Belgium, Brussels.

I met Michael in South Korea around 2013 while I was doing stand up comedy and he was doing music, and we were both teachers.

In this episode we discuss animal rights, vegetarianism, and the benefits of talking to your pets.

Johnny opens up about his battle with depression and his brush with death by a near suicide attempt.

This episode was recorded a few weeks ago, but it is being released a few days after the apparent suicide death of comedian, Steven Brody Stevens.

We hope this inspires anyone out there dealing with depression to speak up and try to find something to hang on to. Mental illness and depression shouldn't have to be a dirty secret.
