PetBiz Podcast for Pet Business Owners

Are you a GROWER in your pet biz? I have identified 4 key phases that every pet business owner goes through to get from Day 1 to the FREEDOM to make decisions outside the day-to-day operations of your business. The first phase is the STARTER. This might be someone starting from scratch, this might be someone who is ready to leave the app cattle call, and this might be someone who has been in business for a while that just needs a bit of a "business tune-up".

This week I define the benchmarks of the GROWER. This is the phase when you realize you are the "lid" on your business. Time is finite and you have nearly reached your capacity. They only way to grow your business is to grow outside the YOU. This is a transition with so many things to think about and steps to take! You will want to re-evaluate your systems to shore them up for bringing on team members. You will also need to establish systems for sourcing and effectively onboarding new team members to your business practices and most importantly CULTURE!
