Marc-John Brown or MJB is a talented practitioner of modern shamanism, a practice he's studied since 2008 under the expert guidance and tutelage of Noe Lopez, one of 6 Shipibo brothers – all of whom work extensively with plant medicines. Noe has 23 years of experience in Curanderismo and is a lineage shaman of his own tradition – the Shipibo tradition.
MJB's studies have taken him to work and be in contact with, the native tribes of Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, Korea and Malaysia.
He believes that embracing these ancient ways of existing in perpetual exchange and harmony with our surroundings is key to a long and prosperous future for our planet and for our future generations and like his maestro, Noe, MJB is an advocate of Western participation in traditional ceremonies, allowing all nationalities to experience the healing powers of Ayahuasca, which as with all plant medicines are very beneficial for healing the body, soul, and mind.
In this episode we'll explore:
• Plant medicine and its relevance for transformation in the western world
• How he’s creating a blueprint on earth for sustainable community living
• The importance of respect for the people, the plants and the healing they bring
• What makes MJB unique in a world of modern-day shaman… in his own words, this “lights him up”
• How he was able to identify the reality, the difference between who he’d become and who he was destined to be
• Something he’s never shared before publicly: the catalyst for everything he’s become and the pain he feels every day when he remembers it!
