Peter Hill Explains

The physics of this device is simply mind blowing. This continues from the theme Oh the science that moves me. Sorry no quote signs as the software that publishes to Blogger is super dodgy. Here I have met my match and the explanation is terrible. It was the sort of thing I had to do all the time when I was an Explainer at the National Science Museum http://lessonpeer.com/drhillteach/Torque%20Converters/Torque%20Converters.mp4 http://lessonpeer.com/drhillteach/Torque%20Converters/Torque%20Converters.mp3.mp3

I had real qualms about using Icons, sort of trade names as conceptual placeholders to build explanations. I had the Peterverse and Hilliverse to set key scales with which to understand the universe. When I researched the origin of significant conceptual errors in the HSC (final school year statewide exams) I unearthed a weird phantom understanding based on perceived personalities. I tell the story of Hitler carrying around a picture of Frederick the Great in an era that had gone icon mad. Probably all to conceptual for a podcast, but there you go. http://lessonpeer.com/drhillteach/Icons%20a%20toxic%20education%20medicine/Icons%20a%20toxic%20education%20medicine.mp4 http://lessonpeer.com/drhillteach/Icons%20a%20toxic%20education%20medicine/Icons%20a%20toxic%20education%20medicine.mp3.mp3

The actual science inside the articles is interesting. Seeing a difference in Solar diameter of 1 in 1 000 000 through resonance waves is mind bending. Three short articles read here. http://lessonpeer.com/drhillteach/Bouncing%20Sun%20and%20Alcohol%20during%20Pregancy/Bouncing%20Sun%20and%20Alcohol%20during%20Pregancy.mp4 http://lessonpeer.com/drhillteach/Bouncing%20Sun%20and%20Alcohol%20during%20Pregancy/Bouncing%20Sun%20and%20Alcohol%20during%20Pregancy.mp3.mp3

A good look at the Unconscious with some good tip for creativity. I don't like it, but they are spot on about how creativity works. http://lessonpeer.com/drhillteach/Unconscious/Unconscious.mp4 http://lessonpeer.com/drhillteach/Unconscious/Unconscious.mp3.mp3

An amazing high tension story of how a Conferate ship charmed its way into the hearts of Melbourne. It then chased Union whale boats and was the last stand for the Conferates as being so remote they did not hear about the end of the war. How it picked up 40 crew in Melbourne has got me stumped http://lessonpeer.com/drhillteach/CSS%20Sharandoah/CSS%20Sharandoah.mp4 http://lessonpeer.com/drhillteach/CSS%20Sharandoah/CSS%20Sharandoah.mp3.mp3
