Ex-FBI agent Peter Strzok is the poster boy for the “Deep State,” with his contemptuous congressional testimony and his naked hostility towards our elected president. Evidently, there are many others like him in a “Resistance Within” the Trump administration today.

Strzok also personifies the sorry state of our nation’s capabilities to defeat those working to subvert our security, especially here. For example, he seems to have done nothing when, as the FBI’s top counterintelligence official, he learned that the Chinese were reading all of then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails.

Strzok’s inaction may have contributed to a huge success for Chinese counterintelligence, which liquidated large numbers of our spies in China. 

Investigating this scandal and vastly improving our ability to defend our constitutional Republic against all enemies, foreign and domestic, must be job one for congressional oversight and the Trump team, alike.
