Cs: Petr stál před obrovskými dveřmi kongresového centra v Praze.
En: Petr stood in front of the huge doors of the congress center in Praha.

Cs: Bylo léto a slunce svítilo na historické budovy Starého Města.
En: It was summer, and the sun shone on the historic buildings of the Staré Město.

Cs: Petr byl plný očekávání i nervozity.
En: Petr was full of anticipation and nervousness.

Cs: Měl dnes večer prezentovat svůj nejnovější výzkum.
En: He was to present his latest research this evening.

Cs: Byla to pro něj velká příležitost.

Cs: Vedle něj stála jeho kolegyně Lucie.
