Pettiford Shines as Jones & Auburn Put Creighton to Sleep, 82-70, Advancing to the Sweet 16 | EP. 48
In the second round of the 2025 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, the overall number one seed Auburn Tigers defeated the nine seed Creighton Bluejays 82-70. Tahaad Pettiford was the difference off the bench for Auburn, along with the “Night-Night” celebration and dagger from Denver Jones in the second half. Chad Baker-Mazara was absolutely a large proponent of the offense, with those three guys each scoring in double-figures. Auburn moves on to the second weekend of the tournament, the Sweet 16, for the first time since its final four run in 2019. The Tigers are set to face 5-seed Michigan, and Vince Wolfram and Jojo Cavanagh are here to break it all down!
